My summer vacation plan

I have some vacation plans.
First, I'm going to go to the summer festival in Tamana and Yamaga with my friends.
I went to Ihe festival in Tamana last summer.
But I have never been to the festival in Yamaga. I want to see the fireworks there.
I think that I will go there by car. I have a driving license, but I don't driving. So I'm going to practice. And I want to driving the car.

Second, I'm going to the drive with my friend. We going to go to Hitoyoshi. There are
beautiful nature. So we can see beautiful scenery.

Third, I want to work in the part-time job, because I think that I want the car. There was two cars in my apartment. My parents use the cars. So I can't use it. I want to drive tha car, and I want to go to the university. I need enough money.

Also, I want to practice the trumpet. There is a regular concert in March. I can't practice it. I’m going to go on a camp and train in Aso with the club members. I will do my best.

And I want get a license of the computer, because I think that it is useful in the job hunting. So I want to study it.

I’m looking forward to the summer vacation.

Cinderella lived with her stepmother and stepsisters. They were hard on Cinderella. One day, they went to the ball. But Cinderella couldn't go there. She was very sad. Suddenly, her godmother appeared. She casted a spell on a pumpkin. The pumpkin became a coach. And she casted a spell on the mouses. The mouses became the horses . At the last, she casted a spell on Cinderella. Cinderella's clothes became the beautiful dress. Cinderella could go the ball. Her godmother warned Cinderella. Cillderella must leave before twelve or the spell will begin to fade.
Cindderella promised. And she went to the ball by the coach.

Cinderella danced with the Prince, but Cinderella must go. Cinderella dropped her glass slipper.
 The next day, a man visited Cinderella's house. The man was looking for the owner of the glass slipper. Cinderella's sister, Grimella put it. But the size didn't suit her. And Cinderella's another sister, Griselda put it, but the slipper is not her size. Cinderella put the slipper. The slipper was perfect for her size.
Finally, the man found the owner of the glass slipper. In fact, the man was the Prince!
The very next day, the Prince and Cinderella were married.

I went to the city last week, but there was no rucksack that I want. I'm going to look for it again.

I like eating. I like boiled rice, breads, pasta, and so on. But I seldom cook, because I'm very busy. When I was a child, I was making the puddings and cookies, etc. with my mother and young sister. Then I can make my favorite foods and I can entertain my friends with homemade dishes. I'm going to learn cooking from my mother. Then I wanted a smartphone or iPhone, because my friends had it. Now, I want the iPhone, because it is more convenient than a smartphone. And iPhone has many kinds of cover the case. I want to customize it.

My favorite place and my childhood memories

 I'm going to introduce my favorite place.

The place is Takamori of Aso. Nature is abundant there. And there is my grandmother's house.

 When I was a child, I often went to my grandmother's house in Takamori of Aso. It take about two hours from my house to there by car. I always slept  in the car. Arrived there, I met my grandmother first of all.

  In the summer, there was the summer festival in there. There were a lot of the stalls. I wore a yukata to the festival. I always bought the yakisoba and watagashi with my young sister. And there was the fireworks display in the festival. The fireworks were very beautiful. Next day, there were many festival cars. The festival cars made from an empty can etc. It was so big.
  Also my uncle came back from Nagoya to Kumamoto in summer every year. I and my young sister liked him, and we played with him.

In the winter, it snowed in Aso. So I built some snow men. But it is very cold in the winter of Aso.
Since it is too, cold, we seldom go there in winter.

Furthermore, I have a favorite place of the Takamori. First, it is the Takamori station.There was a steam train. It is very cool. So, many people come to see there.

Second,  there is spring water tunnel in Aso. I had been there. Inside the tunnel, there are many frame for the strip of paper. The strip of paper with a wish written on it. It is very beautiful. And water is flowing in the tunnel. So it is very cool there.

Third, there is the Takamori hot spring. I went to there with my grandmother, my mother, and my young sister. It was very good. And I always ate the ice cream after taking  a bath.

 Recently, I can't go Aso and my grandmother's house. So I want to go there in this summer vacation. And I would like to go my favorite places.

BR 1-14: Christopher Columbus (Stephen Krensky, 1991)

Christopher Columbus is not afraid of getting lost.

When was 1492. Columbus was starting out to sea with his sailors. 

Columbus was a captain of the Santa Maria and he was a navigator and mapmaker. He also promised to find a new route from Spain to the Far East with the King and the Queen in Spain. 

One day, they found the island. There were the Indians on the Island. Columbus asked them about the Indies. But the Indians didn't understand his language.

Early one morning, the strong wind was blowing. The ship was wrecked. Moreover, one day, they were catch in a fierce storm.

When was 1493. Finally, Columbus reaches Spain. He became a hero. And he discovered the U.S.

BR 1-13: A girl named Helen Keller (Margo Lundell, 2003)

Then she spelled w-a-t-e-r. "Water, Helen! W-a-t-e-r!"

When was 1880. Helen Keller was born in Alabama.

She was deaf and blind. Helen was wild. And she often lost her temper. Then the young sister was born. But Helen was not happy. So she pushed off the young sister out the floor. Her parents had difficulty. The Keller wrote the Perkins School for the Blind in Boston, and he asked them to send a teacher.

When was 1887. The teacher came there. Her name is Anne Sullivan. She gave Helen a doll. She taught Helen spelling of a "doll". Helen copied the an alphabet of hand signs. Miss Sullivan continued teaching Helen various spelling every day. But Helen didn't understand those.

One day, Helen and Miss Sullivan walked in the garden. There was a water pump. Miss Sullivan put Helen's hand in the water. Helen spelled water. Miss Sullivan was surprised and delight.

Finally, Helen understood "water".

Then Helen wanted to know various spelling. Miss Sullivan taught those and she knew that Helen understood those. Helen's parents was very happy.

Then Helen learned read, write, and speak in Radcliffe College. Miss Sullivan helped her in the school. They passed together for 15 years. Helen helped people who were blind or deaf And Helen wrote five books. 

When I read the book, I thought that Miss Sullivan is a wonderful person. I also think that it is difficult for people who are blind or deaf to teach language. But Miss Sullivan could it. So I respect her.

BR 1-12:The swan princess (Hans Christian Andersen, 2005)

"If you are brave, you can save your brothers from the Queen's spell."

  The main character is Eliza. She is princess and she had 11 brothers. Her mother had died when she was born. She was living happily together with her father and her brothers. Then her father remarried a woman. But she is witch. She changed the brothers into the swan by spell, and she expelled them from the castle. Eliza expelled from the castle too.

 When she was sixteen, she came back the castle. The Queen was jealous of her. So the Queen made her ugly by spell. Eliza felt sad, and she went to the lake. Then, swans came to the lake. The swans were her elder brothers. Eliza made the shirt from nettle, in order to solve spell.

Next day, Eliza went to the forest to pick up the nettle. The King went to the forest, in order to hunt. He saw Eliza there. The King took Eliza to his palace. He thought that he wanted to marry with Eliza.

Eliza went to pick up the nettle in evening. Then, the Archbishop looked at her. And he considered that she is a witch. He arrested her.

Eliza went into the prison. Suddenly, open the door. The jailer came, and he gave the nettle shirts.

Eliza began to make the shirts.

She went to outside with the guards. Then, the swans were flying. The swans landed there. Eliza threw the shirts at them. Then, the swans returned to human's figure. The spell was broken.

And she was released. Eliza also married with the King, and they lived a happy life.
