Essay 1-01a: Letter to My Host Family

      Hi! Thanks you for your kindness. I'm going to stay with you in Australia for 6 weeks this summer. I'm looking forward to going there.

      Let me introduce myself. My name is Karin. I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Kumamoto, Japan. I'm first year student at KGU mejoring in English. I learn English, and I study bookkeeping at the university.  Also, I'm in the orchestra circle. I play the trumpet.
 I enjoying every day at the university. I was working part-time job at a sushi shop. I'm going to do a part- time job at a cafe with my friend.

      My hobby is listening to music. I often listen J-pop. But I listen the Western music these days. I live with my family, and I have a young sister. I have a few questions for you.  What are your hobbies?　What is your favorite Japanese food? Have you ever been to Japan? Where do you want to go at the tourist in Japan? If you have any questions about me, please feel free to ask.

      When I arrive in Australia, I have some places where I want to go. I would like to go to Ayers Rock.  I saw it on TV before. I was impressed by the beautiful scene. I would like go there, actually go there. And I want to go the zoo. I want to hold a koala bear there. 
Also, I can see many animals. I want to visit the Sydney Opera House. The Opera House is very famous, so I would like to see the opera there. 

       By the way, where is the place that you recommend in Australia? Please tell it to me.  
 I don't know about Australia, so I would like to know about it. I want to go to various places. 
Also, I want to learn about Australia, and its, culture, history, and other points.
 Especially, I'm interested in the food culture of Australia. I want to eat big beef. 
 Probably, it is bigger than Japanese beef. I'm going to experience various things in Australia.
I will pass a good time there. 

       Finally, I'm looking forward to go to there, and I would like to meet you early. Thanks for your consideration!
