BR 2-07: The secret garden

I thought that the book is wonderful story. Selfish Mary grows into a kind child and she has some best friends. I was very impressed. You should read the book!

Mary who lived in India loses parents for a disease. She will live in the U.K where her uncle lives. Her parents didn't pay attention to her, so he became a selfish child. The garden of Craven who is her uncle was very large. Mary plays in there, and talk with robin. There was the garden among walls in the garden. The garden was closed by the law of the Craven.

BR 2-06:The ugly ducking

I know the outline, I read the book before. It is the nostalgic for me. 

When I read the book, I wonder there was the swan's egg in the duck's nest. If there was the egg in the swan's nest, the ugly ducking doesn't have hard time.

In the scene where he was suffered, I was very sad. However, when he became a beautiful swan, I was very glad. He is better-looking than every kind of birds. I didn't know what kind of form a chick of a swan was doing. I thought the chick of a swan was white, but it was different actually. So I was surprised.

BR 2-05 White Fang

White Fang is very strong and tricky, but he fight with the bulldog which trained and he lost. He received a fatal injury. Scott found him, and he breed. White Fang touched by people's kindness for the first time.
One day, Jack who is a prison breaker has come to his house to take revenge. White Fang  repulsed him desperately. As a result, White Fang became a member of a Scott family.


I read this book and was impressed, because White Fang understood the people's kindness. I think that he became docile. He was strong, but he knew the kindness of the person and became stronger.

The new wolkman

I bought the new wolkman. I borrowed Walkman of my younger sister so far and used it. One day, she said "Return my wolkman. Buy a new one by oneself." So I had to buy it.
First, I went to K's denki which is in front of KGU to examine what kind of walkman there was.
There were a few kind of the wolkman. I didn't know which the best product. So I took back the catalog. I read it. I decided this wolkman (this picture). The battery is last a long time, and it can take a lot of music. Furthermore, it is lighter than it which I used before. I thought that it is very good!

Next day, I bought it. I came back home, I charged it, and I took the music in the wolkman. It is comfortable to use. I was right in choosing the wolkman. This is necessary to my life.

The new hand cream

I bought the new hand cream in the L'occitane. The shop is on the 1st floor of the Tsuruya department store. The hand cream smells is the jasmine. I like it.

I wash the dishes by a part-time job. So my hand dries. I dry in particular in winter. I bought this to prevent dry. However, when I apply this, my skin doesn't dry. I'm always helped by this.

There is a kind of much in this hand cream, and I have bought several those. Those are shea butter, the lavender, the Verbena. All of them had good feel and were a good fragrance, but my favorite hand cream is jasmine. The price is about 1000 yen. It is slightly expensive, but is very good. If you buy a hand cream, I recommend this.

Review 4 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

I watched the "Indiana Jones" for the first time. The movie and the music are very famous. The music is the "Raiders March". I have played this music an electone in the past, so I know it.

Also, Harrison Ford is very cool. His acting is wonderful.

 The movie is very interesting for me. It was thrilling all the way through.

For example, the pilots disappear and the scene where an airplane crashes. How do Indiana escape from this crisis? So I watched it on the edge of my seat.

And the scene where the ceiling with many needles comes down in a cave. I was not able to watch that Indiana might die. Willie who is a singer is going to help him, but she doesn't know that he is the dangerous situation just now. So she doesn't try to hurry. I was very irritated with her.  Furthermore, she succeeded to help him but her clothes were caught on a lever, and the ceiling fell again. I felt impatient. 

In addition, I was surprised by him. There's a scene of a rope bridge. Indiana was attacked on both side on the rope bridge. Willie and Short who are his group were there, too. And there is a river under the rope bridge, and there are many crocodiles. He was driven into a corner. I couldn't imagine it what he would do. Then he cut a rope in a bridge with a big knife. He was winding a rope around a leg so as not to fall. I was very surprised. It is nice idea. I thought he is smart, but it is very dangerous. This is a breathtaking scene.

 I think Indiana is crazy in a sense. You will have a terrible experience if you with him. That's exactly why you can enjoy the adventure. So he is a person loved by everybody.

The movie is very interesting, but I think that there are a lot of violent scenes in the work and cruel situations. A website says, there is a prejudice against India and Hinduism. I think so too. However, this is a fictitious story. I think you don't worry about it so much.

I like this movie, so I'd like to watch all movies of the Indiana Jones series.

BR 2-04:Jack and the beanstalk

I read "Jack and the beanstalk". It is very famous children's story. I knew the title of this book, but did't know the contents of the story. So I knew it this time.

Jack is a main character. One day, his mother ask he to sell the cow to the market. However, Jack meets an old man on the road and he changes the five beans and the cow which the old man had. Jack's mother gets angry, and she throw away the beans.

Next day, the beans were growing into a big tree. Jack climbs the beanstalk and arrives at the castle of the giant on the cloud. He meets a giant's wife. The giant eats children. So he is very dangerous. She says to Jack "Be careful!", but the giant came home. Jack hid the oven. After the giant slept, Jack found a bag of gold and he take it.

Next day, he climbs the beanstalk again. He stole the fowl which lays gold egg. However,  when trying to take a harp, the harp begins to talk, and the giant gets up. Jack climbed down the beanstalk quickly. His mother cut down the beanstalk with an ax.
The giant fell with a thud.

Jack and his mother were very happy. They became richly and lived happily.

I'd like to be richly, too.
